Context
ProAbono provides hosted pages that allow you to automate and empower the subscription process, subscription management, payment method registration, and invoice payment.
Among the tools provided by ProAbono, the Customer Portal is the space where your customers can find all the information related to their subscription(s). It represents your customers’ personal area.
The Customer Portal consists of 4 different sections, including the subscription section, which allows your customers to access information about their subscription(s), change their subscription, or cancel it.
The behavior of the “Change Plan” and “Terminate Subscription” buttons in this section can be overridden to customize the customer experience and configure redirections to pages under your control.
To learn how to do this, please refer to the associated documentation.
Prerequisites

“Change Plan” Button
If a redirection is configured on the “Change Plan” button, instead of performing the associated action (subscription change), the customer will be redirected to your specified URL and will exit ProAbono’s automated workflow.

ProAbono provides you with all the necessary information to find a new entry point in the workflow.
“Terminate Subscription” Button
If a redirection is configured on the “Termination Subscription” button, instead of performing the associated action (subscription termination), the customer will be redirected to your specified URL and will exit ProAbono’s automated workflow.
You can redirect your customer back into ProAbono’s workflow at any time to finalize the initiated action.
ProAbono provides you with all the necessary information to find a new entry point in the workflow.
In conclusion
By customizing the redirections for the above actions, you ensure that you have control over the subscription change and termination workflows, aligning them exactly with your needs, constraints, and business rules.
