Context
The “Payment Method” section of the customer portal displays information related to the customer’s payment method. This section allows the following actions:
- “Change” the payment method,
- “Delete” the payment method.
Note: By default, only the “Change” action for the payment method is accessible. Deletion is a permanent action that can have consequences on the subscription lifecycle. This action can be enabled from the settings of the hosted pages but is not accessible by default.
This article allows you to understand the sequence of hosted pages that enable the customer to delete their payment method.
Prerequisites
To make this work, you must have completed the following actions beforehand:
- Have a page in your application to present your offers, where you can integrate and display the offer presentation page within an iframe.
- Integration of the Customer Portal.
Hosted Pages
ProAbono allows the suppression of the payment method. A validation page confirms this action. The customer is then redirected to the subscription summary page.
