Concept
It describes what you want to sell and how you want to sell it.
It represents the description of your service and how it will be marketed. Through offers, you can model in detail all the characteristics and different pricing options.
An offer can also be seen as a template that will be used to create subscriptions for your customers.
Attributes
The modeling of an offer is done through a set of parameters, such as:
- Startup Fees (also known as ‘Setup Fees’, ‘Initial Fees’, etc.)
- Trial Period (free or paid)
- Offer Recurrence and Amount
- Minimum Commitment Period
- Termination Fees
- All the Features that a customer will have upon subscribing
- Discounts
An Offer can be Public or Private
- A public offer is associated with a visible pricing table. It is intended to be presented in ProAbono’s hosted pages for self-subscription by your end customers.
- A private offer, on the other hand, will never be presented in ProAbono’s hosted pages. However, you can still market it by sending private subscription links.
- You can deactivate an offer if you want to archive it. Deactivating an offer is not permanent; you can reactivate it at any time.
More Details
- Trial Period (free or paid)
The trial period allows you to provide your customers with a designated period to try your subscription before it begins. The trial period is a modifiable parameter that allows you to limit or grant access to the various features included in the offer. This way, you can give your customers full access to your application, website, or service during the trial period, or restrict its usage.
For example: your Starter offer includes a 14-day trial period with no additional charges and provides full access to all features of the offer.
- Recurrence. It is possible to create offers with a limited and defined recurrence.
Setting an end date for the subscription allows you to create offers that naturally end after a certain number of periods.
For example: your Starter offer is a trial offer for your application. It is configured to be a limited-time offer with no trial period or fees, and a monthly recurrence. You choose to set an end date for the subscription after 3 periods. Your Starter offer will allow your future customers to subscribe and explore your application for 3 months.
- Minimum Commitment Period
The commitment period is defined in terms of the number of periods and is not automatically renewed after its completion.
For example: your Premium offer provides full access to your application. It is configured to have no trial period and a monthly recurrence. You set a minimum commitment period of 12 months. Your Premium offer allows your future customers to subscribe to an offer that cannot be canceled during the first 12 months.
- All the Features that a Customer will have upon subscribing
Features are the elements that make up your offers. These elements can be considered as options, services, add-ons, or other variables that will affect the subscription price. For more information on features, click here.
