Each list in ProAbono provides access to essential data for managing your SaaS business.
Overview of the List
The Billing by Offer list groups information related to the billing performance of subscription offers. It allows you to view and analyze essential data to monitor the performance of offers, identify issues, or deepen your understanding of your business.
Each row in the list represents a subscription offer, with:
- the number of invoices generated over the selected period,
- the cumulative amounts of these invoices (excluding and including taxes).
You can access this list from the backoffice’s left navigation menu, by going to the Invoices & Payments > All lists & exports section.
Available Filters
To facilitate the search and analysis of data, the list offers several filters. Here are the main filters available:
- By date: date of invoice issuance, with options such as day, week, month, rolling month, rolling 30 days, year, or custom dates.
- By segment: targeted analysis based on customer segments.
- By currency: filter based on the currency used (EUR, USD, etc.).
These filters allow you to refine results and focus only on relevant information.
Available Actions
Data Export
Data export is available for each list. You can choose between two types of export:
- File export: export data in CSV or JSON formats for easy integration into your analysis tools (e.g., Excel, databases).
- Export via the ProAbono API: retrieve data via the API to integrate it into your automated workflows.
Examples and Use Cases
Accounting
- Tracking amounts invoiced (excluding and including taxes) by offer over a given period: the accountant uses the list to compare amounts invoiced by currency to ensure consistency between billing journals and tax declarations.
- Performance analysis of offers: the CFO uses this list to identify the most profitable offers, focusing on cumulative amounts excluding taxes.
- Evaluating the success of acquisition campaigns by offer: by analyzing the number of invoices generated by the offers targeted in a marketing campaign, the marketing manager can adjust communication and acquisition strategies.
- Analyzing the impacts of offer changes on customer satisfaction: by observing variations in the number of invoices generated by an offer after an update or repositioning, a CSM can assess the effect of changes on customer loyalty.
These examples show how the Billing by Offer list helps optimize actions based on roles within a subscription-based business.
