Redirection from the “Payment method” section of the Customer Portal – Assistance & Documentation

Context

ProAbono provides a set of hosted pages, including the customer portal, which is your customers’ personal space.
Among the sections that make up the customer portal, the “Payment Method” section allows your customer to access information about their payment method, change their payment method, or permanently delete it.

The behavior of the “Change” and “Delete” buttons in this section can be overridden to customize the customer experience and configure redirections to pages under your control.

“Change” Button

If a redirection is specified for the “Change” button, the default behavior will not be executed. The payment method change will not occur in ProAbono, and the customer will be redirected to your specified URL.

“Delete” Button

If a redirection is specified for the “Delete” button, the default behavior will not be executed. The payment method will not be deleted in ProAbono, and the customer will be redirected to your specified URL.

Note: By customizing the redirections for the above actions, you ensure that you have control over the payment method change and deletion workflows, aligning them exactly with your constraints and business rules.
