Concept
Business represents your organization, it is the resource that encompasses all of your activity. However, ProAbono is a multi-channel application, and you have the option to divide your application into different segments.
A segment is a configurable subset of a business designed to market a service based on a specific market, customer type, different pricing, currency, or specific workflow. It has its own set of customers, offers, currency, etc.
An initial segment is automatically created when you create your ProAbono business, and you can add more segments as needed.
Note: Features are associated with the business and are reusable into the diffrents segments

| Language | The segment has a default language that is defined in the business. However, it is possible to customize the language per segment to have a different language. This allows associating the defined language with all your customers at the time of their creation. |

| Currency | Defined during creation, it is used for the marketing of your service. It cannot be changed after creation. |
| Payment Method | Each segment has its own payment methods. It is possible to connect multiple different payment gateways to offer different payment experiences. All payment methods are compatible and can be used within the same segment. |

Further Information
By default, ProAbono automatically creates a segment when a business is made available. You can add additional segments based on your needs.
