Context
By default, if the selected offer is a paid one, ProAbono will display the payment method registration form to your customers during the subscription process.
However, you can customize the display of this step to make the registration of a payment method mandatory in all circumstances.
To learn how to do this, please refer to the associated documentation.
Flow
Subscription to a paid offer
If your customer chooses one of your paid offers, the payment method registration form will be automatically displayed. This allows for billing the customer at the start of the subscription and validating the payment method.
Subscription to a free offer with paid options
If your customer chooses a free offer and activates paid features during the subscription, the payment method registration form will be automatically displayed.
Subscription to a free offer
If your customer chooses a free offer, the payment method registration form will not be displayed. The customer‘s subscription starts once they have validated all the elements of the subscription tunnel.
Registration of a payment method even for free offers
In ProAbono, you can customize the behavior of the hosted pages.
In this example, you can see that it is possible to present the payment method registration form even if the selected offer is free. This way, you can invoice additional services or upgrade your customer‘s subscription to charge for elements related to your business.
