Dear Customers,
The ProAbono platform experienced intermittent slowdowns on Sunday, June 28, Monday, June 29, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026, due to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
What is a DDoS attack? An attack aimed at saturating an infrastructure by overwhelming it with fake requests to slow it down or make it unavailable.
Observed Impacts: This massive traffic influx caused extreme slowness, request time-outs on our API, and temporary display failures on the customer portal and back office.
Data Security: Our investigations confirm that no intrusion occurred. Your data security remains fully preserved.
Measures Taken and Increased Vigilance
Hotfixes were deployed last night and this morning to stabilize the infrastructure. ProAbono is now even more attentive and strict regarding the requests made to our services.
To protect the platform, ProAbono relies on an automatic banning system that blocks access (API, back office, or customer portal) in the event of suspicious activity.
Important: Following our recent fixes, tolerance thresholds have been tightened. The protection system is now more sensitive and may ban suspicious behaviors much faster than before.
If you or your customers encounter an unusual access block, please contact our technical support immediately. Thank you for your trust and patience; we remain fully mobilized.
